PROGRAMME

You can choose a YKY-programme out of these:

1. Thracians-Bulgarians checks:

   Know-how to check historiography (the written histories) modelled after an expert. Content: some written histories by Sparotok (Pavel Serafimov);

2. Intercultural English:

   International cultural exchange in English - as either foreign or native language of the participants;

3.  Homemade eco electricity:

   Ways of off-grid electricity for a small, economical eco-home;

4.  Permacult-beginning :

   For newbies in permaculture design; 

5. Passive greenhouse:

   "Earthship" one or of another type;

6.  Ekoum-beginning-:

   Skills for eco-life and eco-symbiosis (eco-commensalism); 

7.  Paneurhythmy and ethics+;

   Ethical and philosophical, anthropological and psychological, cultural, linguistic, etc. view-points and reflections;

8.  Balkans-UNESCO mission:

   Application of Detectives of Time YKY-method to both Bulgarian and Balkan UNESCO world heritage sites; 

9.  English FL YK:

   Creative learning (YK) of English as a foreign language.

Learning

is independent and, at the same time, in collaboration with the group fellows. There might or not be a helper expert with the group presenting their personal experience on the programme topic.

The weekly commitment

of a learner is about 7 hours a week (or more if desired), which cover the following activities:

  1) Direct work on an individual creative project, which is original (author's work) and can be in the form of:

2 1/2 hrs

      ✓ Text between 300-1000 words - in a genre is according to the  topics of both programme and the project;

      ✓ Audio / video from 3 to 10 minutes;

      ✓ Photo gallery, comics or other visual narrative with captions;

      ✓ Combination of the above ;

(Nowadays, many people are used to creating such projects for their social media profiles);  

   2) Participation in a webinar (online seminar);

  ,3) Making a slideshow under a template for your project presentation;

30 min

  4) Participation in online Presentations in-group as both presenter and viewer giving feedback via e-forms on others’ presentations;

90 min

  5) Reviewing the creative projects of the participants (colleagues and possibly the expert), with giving feedback through e-forms;/

1 hr.

Two more things to do before joining YKY

• Register your new, individual site/blog, where you will publish your creative  projects (easily done on www.blogger.com as an example);

• Think of your fictional identity at YKY, i.e. name, surname and brief biography

Beginning

The course will start when a group of at least three learners gets formed.
